Cheapest option now is to just buy at the gate. It won't be a sellout.

$50 cash outside the gate will probably get you 4 tickets.

If you want to save money and try to eliminate any ridiculous fees set out by TM I'd just get GA tickets on game day and be done with it. You'll need to park across the highway where Fouts is but there's a walkway now so the walk isn't bad at all really

As far as attendance I'd be very happy if there were more than 22k actual people there. Realistically I think it'll be in the 17-20k range but I think the announced attendance will probably be stretched.

Looks like GA tickets go for $12/each. Buy those and you can probably sit right at or very near the SMU section if it's all full.

The 11:00 am game time on our last trip probably cut down on the crowd-but the site of June staring off into space 15 yards away from the team was well worth it. I kind of think attendance might be better than expected

Hope you're right. I'll be there with 3 SMU fans and 3 UNT fans. Hope we show well.
