Well seeing there was a "unanimous" vote against expansion, I wouldn't call getting past the first round of cuts impressive.

I agree, but Rice, at that point in time, was a "better" choice than all of the MWC applicants (some being state flagships) save CSU and AFA, and they also beat out Memphis. My point is that they would at least bring
some value if paired with us in a package. In the end I don't care whether it's Houston or Rice.

The big12 presidents probably don't know the internet exists and people know the lions share of what they do no matter what they say.
