The missed 3's don't bother me nearly as much as the 10 blown dunks and point blank shots missed. We make even 5 of those and the walk-ons would have been put in earlier.
Make Gu the primary guy to bring the ball up and get Shake on the wing.
After number 0 clocked Shake - I really wanted Sterling or someone to return the favor........

At first I thought I was watching the Big 12 network, then realized that they don't have one. The color guy must have been a huge Dixon supporter or friend. BenE was amazing last night and I too hope that Sterling gets his shot going.

I have been annoyed at the attempts to make the circus dunk (or so it seems from the stands) and have the ball fly off the rim. That seemed to turn the game vs. USC as it led to a 4 point swing.

I was really surprised by the coverage. SMU was up 8 and TV was coming back from a commercial break, just showing some highlights. Of the 10 they showed the first 9 were TCU highlights. If I didn't know better, I would have thought the SMU was getting absolutely smoked rather than being up 8

Pretty certain Sterling put Fisher (0) on the court a few minutes later.......very quietly.

Tigers don't change their stripes - that's part of who we are. We will win as many as we lose having the circus dunks. When they connect at home it can turn the opponents brain from "maybe" to "get me out of here"

Good, wished I had seen that...

Worst announcers ever.

Not the best announcers ever, but I didn't think the bias was that excessive. I think Dixon was a great hire and TCU is on the way up. Nothing wrong w/ saying that. They gave us plenty of credit and repeatedly said we looked much better, even when the score didn't reflect it.
Plus, I'd rather have the refs on our side and the announcers on theirs than the other way around.
I'm glad to see TCU taking strong steps towards making this a real rivalry on the court.

Are you saying that the refs were on our side simply because we had more FT attempts than TCU or because you think that there were a bunch of calls that should have been made on SMU that were not made because the refs were "on our side".
I thought that the game was called straight up. TCU rarely drove down the lane and chose to take excessive amounts of outside shots - leading to the disparity - which became greater in the 2nd as they cranked more an more from outside (can't blame them as it worked for Boise, Michigan and USC - of course those three combined the outside shooting with penetration).

TCU's Guards were also trying to get intro our players jock straps all Nite-FAIL. You want to play tight aggressive defense you should expect more fouls

The announcers are tied to ESPNs Big 12 package. They were talking to what they deemed to be a Big 12 audience. Noticed at the half the network studio guys proclaimed Dixon newcomer coach of the year even though it was only Dec 7.

That explains their love for the Frogs. With that knowledge, I hope they enjoyed their visit to Moody!

I don't think the disparity was huge, but when I watched the game originally and upon re-watching it I felt that we got the benefit of the doubt more often than they did. For me it just contrasted well with the slight, but not overwhelming, TCU bias of the announcers. More of a "tongue-in-cheek" statement than anything.

The one he missed vs TCU was because the pass was too far from the rim. I watched it a few times.
Now the bunnies....need to be made!
