Are we all sure McDowell will be back? Didn't play much this year, and he's been recruited-over. Love his effort and hope he stays but that's the typical profile of a transfer.
With a year in the system in his pocket I hope he stays.CalallenStang wrote:Are we all sure McDowell will be back? Didn't play much this year, and he's been recruited-over. Love his effort and hope he stays but that's the typical profile of a transfer.
I really think McDowell could have a great place here in year 3 and 4, if he sticks around. Who knows though; I'm no insider and terrible at predicting roster movement.sadderbudweiser wrote:With a year in the system in his pocket I hope he stays.CalallenStang wrote:Are we all sure McDowell will be back? We need a big. We have a million guards, no bigs and one ride.mustangxc wrote:Not a bad option for a graduate transfer.

Yeah we already took our Guard in McMurray and he is a good one. We need a big. Period. The only grad-transfer big i've seen so far that averages over 2PPG is the 6'6-6'7 guy Khris Lane form Longwood who has great numbers, but is Semi like Big. Would rather get a true big guy. Still hope Dwight Coleby transfers.sadderbudweiser wrote:We need a big. We have a million guards, no bigs and one ride.mustangxc wrote:Not a bad option for a graduate transfer.

It doesn't matter if Tyler Davis is happy, he is still not a grad Transfer so wouldn't be any help to us next year. I would imagine if Semi does come back, any big grad transfer would like to join us and start alongside him.jimhagle wrote:Not sure Tyler Davis is very happy at A&M
McDowell is going to Seattlemustangxc wrote:So depending on whether we land a graduate transfer or not our most up to date roster management should be as follows:
17/18 (11-12 scholarships)
FR Landrum, Ray, Chargois, Douglas, Mike
SO Whitt, McDowell
JR Foster, Milton, McMurray
SR Emelogu, (possible graduate transfer)
18/19 (10-11 scholarships)
FR anywhere from 1-4 depending on how many we use in 17/18 and attrition
SO Landrum, Ray, Chargois, Douglas, Mike (probably lose one to attrition)
JR Whitt, McDowell
SR Foster, McMurray, possibly Milton
