Re: Disgraced
Watched it last night after the bball games were over. Great documentary on a tragic situation. Baylor is very lucky that it emerged unscathed by that and I won't speculate on how Carl was railroaded through the process and into jail.
Every time I hear of these situations though I think of the Men's FB and BB players that are treated unjustly by the NCAA not allowing them a true living stipend while they make the NCAA, their University's, Media and other commercial enterprises millions of dollars.

Good documentary. I cannot believe Bliss is coaching again. He did not come across very well in my opinion.

I don't think a stipend would have prevented one dude from shooting another dude twice in the head down by the quarry. Nor would a stipend have prevented a coach from trying to hide his own violations by make said player out to be a drug dealer.

Re: Disgraced
He wasn't even on scholarship at Baylor. See that's why Bliss was lying. Baylor had 13 scholarship players-the NCAA limit-but Bliss illegally funneled money to pay for Dennehey's tuition and expenses during his transfer year when he would have been 14th kid on roster. Cheating his [deleted] off as usual

Why not just send him the JC route while transferring and keep the NCAA hounds away? A talent like Dennehy not on scholarship had to be an enormous red flag

While I don't feel "sorry" for him, I wonder: can Bliss pay his "debt to society" and work again? If so, what job(s) can he have?

I hear Wal-Mart Greeter is not selective
Re: Disgraced
If he gets me an in as a D1 assistant coach I'll help him secure an entry level spot at my current company.

Maybe he could coach a prison team.
Rouse was blackballed from coaching and now works teaching federal inmates in Texas.

Quitting all his lying would be a god first step. I think he has lied so much he actually believes it. Some people are beyond repair.
