Yes, still getting back into it. I would think he'll be an option come the start of the season though.

Interesting: EJ Holland at the DMN says Hicks is the man, Billy Embody at Scout says DJ will be starting QB after first game. Peavey looked pretty solid in the Red/Blue albeit it vanilla offense with walk-on RBs. Should be a great fall camp. I did notice Hicks' body language exuded confidence. We'll see, but great to have those two very winnable games to start the season. Offense will put up big numbers and we probably see all three QBs play. I'd hate to be their DBs with Sutton, Proche and Quinn on the field, WOW.

If it is Hicks they need to have him keep the ball occasionally on the zone read. I realize last year with no depth they could not risk it, but if he is not going to keep it some then we will need Peavy or DJ who have the ability to do so. Time to use the whole offense.

I thought Merek Pierce looked good. Kid was like a bowling ball.

If he sees the field in anything but a blowout or on special teams, something will have gone horribly wrong. Not counting the incoming class, Jones, West, Freeman & Thomas should be the only RB's getting carries in real games.
