I don't know enough about the rules. It is okay to hire a players dad? And then get the kid later? Seems like the logic is crazy and we should hire every dad of every top player out there. Plus it would not count against scholarships since the kids would get free tuition as the kid of a staffer.

Yes. In fact the #1 recruit this last year, Michael Porter Jr., signed with Missouri and they also hired his dad as an assistant. Not sure how they got around the two year rule.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
