I think Berkley would be a better call. They will burn them out.

My gardener uses monkey grass, which works just fine. Maybe they should try it?

How does it look after a few hundred people have walk on it?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Same guy who makes the nachos was obviously in charge of this strip of grass.

OP is absolutely correct. We spoke to the tailgate rep and he said that Southern Botanical just recently took over the contract for the boulevard. They are letting all the grass die this year and will fix after the football season. Obviously it made no sense to fix it before it got trampled on seven times.

Our spot had massive ant piles. They came around with ant poison though, so if any of you have the same issue call Kyle from the tailgate office.

A shot of ant poison before the game sounds like it would make for a good time.

Subject: New Watering Schedule for Bishop Boulevard

In preparation for the fall season, SMU will be over seeding, fertilizing and, most importantly, irrigating the turf on Bishop Boulevard.

We are applying an organic soil conditioner, performing an aeration and putting down a blend of Fescue and Rye Seed.  To achieve germination, the seed/soil must remain moist at all times.  Over the course of the next 2 weeks the irrigation schedule will be modified to achieve the desired results.

The schedule will be 7 days per week with start times of 6:05 a.m., 9:05 a.m., 12:05 p.m., 3:05 p.m., 6:05 p.m. and 9:05 p.m.  The system will only run for 7 minutes during each start time, which is how long it takes for the rotors in that area to make 2 complete passes.  This is to make sure the seed stays moist with minimal runoff.

Once we have achieved full germination, we will modify the schedule again.  The University apologizes for the inconvenience.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

You will notice that the Germination never got as far as Sherwood Arkansas, and that
is a good thing although it was bad for the Hogs that need grass.
