We lost our starting left tackle early, which added to the pressure Hicks was getting and we rolled up way more yards and points than Arkansas....as disappointed as anyone and I would like to see Hicks make a few better throws, but he also had a couple dropped by the TE's and there wasn't a lot of separation by the receivers.

TE drops did come at really bad times

Even without Gillins we did have a great Wildcat play set with Kemon at QB which lead to 2 TDs-good coaching. Scoring in Red Zone is much better this year

We were tied for first with 34 teams for red zone scoring until today. Today was not as good as it could have been or should have been. But TCU has a pretty good defense.

TCU's DBs simple smothered our receivers. Sutton had no chance with great double coverage. Once TCU figured out Quinn needed covering they eliminated him. Hicks didn't have many easy throws after the 1st quarter. TCU simple made better adjustment and played better on our receivers.

The real concern is the lack of speed at LB. And several blown coverages didn't help.

TCU is much better than us. We still need bigger D linemen and we desperately need more speed at LB

I think our O is better and can produce more points than in the past. The D is the concern at this point.

Sutton was either double covered allowing other receivers to run free, or Hicks was targeting him but not putting the ball in the same zip code.

We will not face a more difficult defense all year and we managed to get in the 30s.

True. We will probably end up averaging 50+

Hicks did us no favors tonight.

Trickeration in the first quarter got us the lead. It's too bad we abandoned it. Should have kept it up the whole game.

If you want to prevent a 1st round NFL-caliber WR from scoring 5 TDs in a half and 7 TDs in a game, try double coverage.

Courtland Sutton is an underutilized asset playing for SMU...
