Why wouldn't our good neighbor, GWB Library open its doors to children of his donating constituency ? Here in the Midwest, we hear nothing about GW and the Library. Definitely better than Baylor getting it. Café 43 is usually full and the University uses it a lot for power lunches. It's a very nice showcase and SMU is building across the highway.

I still don't understand what's in the 2/3 of the "library" that's inaccessible on the tour. Any insider info?

Never done the tour, but there are lots of offices and meeting/reception rooms. The Institute and the Library are separate entities in the same building.

Plus there are all of the archives. Every piece of paper that went through the White House for eight years is stored there.
