The K.A. House would make a perfect "Safe Place"

If you are not a pledge.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Why wouldn't our good neighbor, GWB Library open its doors to children of his donating constituency ? Here in the Midwest, we hear nothing about GW and the Library. How is it working out for our school ? Has/is giving up prime and scarce land paying off for SMU ? Would be interested in hearing comments.

They "Bained" the guy who fed the squirrel that ran the wheel of the generator that produced the electricity. The intern that replaced him was out with the flu.

Definitely better than Baylor getting it. Café 43 is usually full and the University uses it a lot for power lunches. It's a very nice showcase and SMU is building across the highway.

I still don't understand what's in the 2/3 of the "library" that's inaccessible on the tour. Any insider info?

Never done the tour, but there are lots of offices and meeting/reception rooms. The Institute and the Library are separate entities in the same building.
Plus there are all of the archives. Every piece of paper that went through the White House for eight years is stored there.

DoesnΓÇÖt W also have a private residence and office there? I would assume he would prefer people not touring that area.
And of course as OTP mentioned the remains of aliens and their ship that the public is not yet ready to acknowledge.

When he's not in town using the private residence; do you think he might rent it out, say like on Air B&B ?
The alternative W Hotel in Dallas.

They need to hire a licensed electrician. Too many administrators with academic credentials who should not be making decisions involving water of electricity.
