Let's take a look and see what Courtland did against our top competition this year.

TCU 1 rec 0 yds
UCF 5 rec 46 yds
Memphis 1 rec 35 yds

When you struggle with drops on the year and disappear in some games, you need every chance you can to showcase. I love Courtland. He has been amazing to watch on the field and be an ambassador off the field. Play in the bowl and improve your stock.

I'm glad you are not his agent.

Because I can see that heΓÇÖs not a project like hunt was/is... because I am weighing the risks and benefits without my smu Pom poms?!

Ok Tommy! Courtland is the best and has nothing to prove. You got it.

He torched TCU in previous years though, actually looked like a man among boys with some catches.

I think his only real area of improvement is going to be getting separation. Of course you don't have to if you can just outjump everybody. He won't be able to muscle every ball in the NFL so foot speed, route running, separation. But that's nit picking. The kid is a first rounder without a doubt. Hope he has a nice long amazing career ala Sanders (and what Beasley is putting together). That work ethic and competitiveness with humility is what will get him there. Wish him the best and hope he becomes a huge ambassador for SMU (more than Sanders and Beasley have been not that I'm complaining).
