Trey Quinn, Mike Woods, Tre Allison, Silas Robinson for starters-how much are they worth
Here we go folks. Now ignoring 4 classes of supposedly 'outstanding' recruits, losing these 4 (3 guaranteed future mega stars) will now serve as the reason for any future failures for not paying Morris his 'market rate' of 4+ million per year.
Woods was just going to come in and leapfrog all of these other outstanding WR's that Morris has recruited to date?

Five worse teams in 2014 than SMU -- USM, Miami OH, GA State, NM State and Eastern Michigan, None were in AAC or above. SMU also had the biggest drop from beginning of year to end of year. Tulsa was close and also hired a new coach who hasn't proved as successful although he had a lot of close losses this year and a win over UH at home.
https://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?t=11604&s=279541 In 2015, SMU ranked #154 but UCF and UNT ranked #214 and #231 respectively. Charlotte was #233. I didn't think any team could be worse than UNT but there were the mighty 49ers. Two years later, UCF went undefeated and UNT made a bowl while losing at SMU.
Very sad to see trey leave, was great to watch him play, just wished for one more year. looking like their could be up to 14 mustangs on nfl rosters next year.

Give it up! Chad was gone after what this team accomplished this year and no way he stays even if we match what Arkansas was offering, including enough to keep his assistants in place and attract some upgrades if necessary. Chad Morris wants to compete for national championships and I think he believes he can do that at a school in the SEC West with a rich football history.

Should have some really good competition for playing time but I expect the TE position to be used more than Chad did. We will find out how well Chad recruited soon enough as some new guys are going to finally get an opportunity to play.

Lol.
So, pay Chad $4 million (he'd still go to the SEC)
But
Since we didn't (and again, Chad would've still bailed) Trey would turn down $$ and these other guys would've come to smu and lit it up. And we wouldn't have gotten the highest rated recruit since 2012 in here.

In one week Sonny Dykes landed a recruit who was higher rated and had a better offer list than anyone Chad signed in three years at SMU. YouΓÇÖre acting like Chad swiped your v-card and never called you againΓÇöitΓÇÖs embarrassing at this point.

Nah, just another lawyer, with an insane amount of free time, and a disorder which prevents him from admitting he's wrong.
