I hope not. I know he's rated high for the NBA, but I just don't see it. He still seems soft to me with lots of room for improvement. I like him alot, but he doesn't seem to have the edge needed to compete in the NBA.

Shake is the best NBA prospect we have had in years. I don’t find him soft at all. Does he have flaws... yep. But in a league where Steph Curry and KD two of the least physical players imaginable are at the forefront he will be fine. Shake is a competitor with a good work-ethic. Shake has positional versatility which NBA loves. He has length. And he is a career 42% 3 point shooter with easy NBA range. Shake is a middling athlete, but he has the length and smooth game to makeup for it. He is a legit top 30 prospect this year. He will go somewhere between 18-35. Coming back won’t help him.
I hope he plays again this season, but he won’t be back next season. That was pretty certain a long while ago. We should all wish him well. He has been a fun one. Hope he is a first rounder.
Can’t understand how this is a long term injury. I could see him skipping the rest of the year to ensure he is healthy for NBA work outs but if he is actually hurt so bad that it would keep him out until after May it’s something very different that a dislocated joint or bruised hand.
Pretty obvious that wins are going to be few and far between without both Jarrey and now Shake. Hope he is able to return this year; otherwise it would not surprise me to see this team finish under .500 in conference play...in fact I almost expect it with our remaining schedule
Not many teams in the nation can finish above .500 in conference play without their two best players. See Notre Dame as a prime example. Really sucks but is what it is.
They are not going to say anything. First they want to keep the opposition guessing, and second there are certain laws about speaking about player injuries. Not sure if that is in play here but it could be. And third, I am not sure if anyone really knows for sure or not. But I too do not expect him back.
