Please don't be alarmed if you feel a pinch at your side today. It's just me doing a quick BMI survey for some of you. Don't call the MeToo police. Just trying to get your shirt size right.

Totally disheartening.
Given the cold temps, and torrential rains just before game time, everyone wore at least rain coats. Hard to stow a coat in crowded conditions, and hard to pull a shirt over it. Then you get hot.
I thought it was pretty solid participation, except by Shockers, although they took quite a few shirts home. The red seats had excellent participation.
Between Molthan Homes and Coke, I suppose much of the ~$40K (7K shirts * $6) was covered. Beverage companies usually make very little on their college beverage deals.
With the wooden bleachers facing the cameras and being the most visible, it's nearly impossible to totally pull something like this off. The section to the far-right, has visiting fans, their families and staff sitting there, they obviously are not going to participate. The middle section is the mob, they obviously will participate. The section on the far left, is a mixture of SMU fans, recruits, staff and invited visitors, you're not going to get very much cooperation from them. So, what's most visible for the television cameras, is a total cluster. The upper levels, that are unfortunately not visible to tv cameras, looked pretty good.
