Noah played with a dislocated rib and due to a number of factors that resulted in tendinitis/bursitis in which he couldn't make a full swing. He had a cortisone shot recently due to the injury not getting better. He started hitting full swing shots this week and plans to play in the conference championship.

Noah back in action at the AAC Championship in FL and carded a 5 over 76 for his 1st round, which actually came into play as one of our top 4 finishers. Our guys finished plus 6 and are in 3rd place after day one, 6 shots off the pace set by USF and trailing both the Florida schools.

Our guys jumped UCF on day 2 but are currently plus 14 and 19 shots off the lead. USF has 3 guys under par and SMU is lead by Gray Townsend at even par and McClure Meissner (the other frosh) at plus one.

what a disappointing year for mens golf...going to finish the year ranked around 90th, not even close to the .500 rule or being ranked high enough for NCAA Regionals...missing out for the 3rd straight year. I know there were sanctions but the team is getting worse and worse each heard under current coaches. Its time for change, men's golf should excel with Trinity Forest, the school and the talent in Texas. Coach Loar's teams were never even close to this bad. This Noah Goodwin kid was supposed to be #1 recruit in the country, yes he missed in a couple of events, but in the events he played he wasn't much of a factor at all. Program needs change

I know we are not supposed to be talking about women's golf but they are going to miss out on NCAA Regionals as well and have not made the NCAA finals during current coaches tenure. Again, sports that SMU should easily be top 25...but not even close, finishing year ranked 65th

Don’t we have an outstanding training facility?

Last time I checked some of the top players on this year's team (men's team) are FR and SO so it's a little early to give up hope.

I believe we were rated the best recruiting class in US this year. so if those guys live up to expectations, we should be fine. They did help us get 2nd, but USF was outstanding this year, top 25.

Disappointing years for the Men's and Women's teams, again. Inexcusable to miss out on NCAA Finals, yet alone Regionals year after year. Props to the men's team on the great recruiting class. These programs should be in the top 20 consistently.

To finish the year ranked 85th in men's golf is sad...its very easy to make NCAA Regionals in mens' and women's golf, you essentially just have to be ranked in the top 60. Its time for change, both of these programs are terribly underachieving even with Trinity Forest. Both teams should be consistent top 20 teams.
