I thought we already figured out why we're awful. Uniforms are still questionable.

It's really very very simple. Home: White helmets, red pony, blue jerseys, white pants with stripes. Away: All white. Special games, against traditional rivals tcwho / coog high, etc maybe break out something special. I like the USA flag helmet against navy. That's about it. Very simple. Branding 101: keep it simple and consistent.

Agreed. Home: White helmets, red pony, blue jerseys, white pants with stripes. Away: All white. I don't mind switching in red jerseys for occasional special games. No stripes on the jerseys. We have a good clean, instantly recognizable look. We should stick with it.

I liked the Hayden Fry uniforms too, and the pony express uniforms are good anytime. The MY Gians know how to use red and blue.
