I think the fact that Applewhite hired two Baylor assistants, including Brile's son at U of H is interesting given Major's history of philandering. At the same time I think its a sign that no additional hammers will drop on Baylor coaches.

Bennett was aware, as was virtually everyone associated with Baylor athletics.
Sadly, there will be no DP for Baylor, but instead a "quiet " resolution of existing litigation.
For those who readily played a willing part in this horror, may they face an equal or greater horror of their own.
Grace is the only hope...

I hadn't seen the $300-400MM cost to BU. But considering legal fees, settlement costs, and likely drop in donations this seems fairly reasonable.
BU paid a big price for recruiting some questionable kids and letting them run wild.
