Loudest I recall was Sterling Moore's pick vs then #4 TCU in 2010.

Excellent call. That was a great game to be at till like the end of the 3rd quarter. That was a truly packed and crazy Ford. I missed that atmosphere dearly.

That could be true as a reactive roar. My reference was to the crowd noise prior to the 4th down play. Then obviously the roar after the sack was also loud.

EVERYTHING was riding on that UTEP 4th down. When we sacked the QB, the stadium erupted.

21-10 over TCU in 2005 was pretty fun too, since they just beat OU in Norman.

losing like 66-8 at A&M the next week sucked, of course. I'll stick with the UTEP game.

Not at that one game :). The crowd was locked in. Everyone stood on third downs and especially the fourth down play. I actually didn't have to encourage the rest of the section to get up!

Goal line stand against Kansas on opening day of Ford Stadium was the loudest because we had a capacity crowd and everyone actually into the game.

I can believe that but did not witness it personally.

Agree. That was a HUGE moment in the post death-penalty era. I remember the anxiety building as Taylor Thompson chased the scrambling UTEP QB around for what seemed like an eternity and then almost everyone in Ford going wild when he finally sacked him to clinch bowl eligibility. UTEP was reasonably competitive in those days and brought decent numbers to Ford...better than any of our AAC mates except maybe Houston.
