94- wrong- IMO the fan base will pay for a top level winning program. Nobody hesitated to pay top price when LB was here and tickets were at a premium because we were winning and on top, plus getting national exposure. Our fans will NOT pay top dollar (i.e. the re-seat rape) when we play high school level schools, get beat by them and end up in the basement level of our league.
Dallas supports winners and SMU supports winners- simple as that. Well almost

We have an incredible wealthy donor base that is currently setting piles of money on fire for SMU to build fountains and new facilities and a huge endowment. And what do we have to show for it? Our rankings across the board have regressed and our ΓÇ£peer institutionsΓÇ¥ have continued to rise
That’s why I’m calling for RGT’s head. In the ten years since I’ve graduated my SMU degree has not appreciated in value...it’s depreciated!

10 years post graduation I would hope nobody is depending on the "value" of their degree as your work experience/performance should far outweigh where you went to school...unless I suppose you are an educator at the collegiate level where maybe those things matter more?
Could really care less about how much my degree is worth. SMU will always be known as a "good school". Who cares if we go up or down a few spots in the USA today rankings. Just win baby.
