Turns out a few middle school and high school bands are attending in lieu of Texas State band's absence. Making further connections with DISD is paramount on landing future athletes and scholars (or both).
Really surprised the Texas state band can't make the short trip for this one.

Her name was Debbie Mulvenna- great person who always helped me with tickets etc. Sad that she left. Not many in the club who work as hard as she did.
Doing a great job at Tulane, and still an SMU supporter. She and her husband were at our game last weekend.

I miss the buses to Ft Worth. I wonder why the Mclub stopped doing this.
MC stopped doing this when less than half a bus was filled the last time a few years ago.

Yeah, sit their middle school butts in the sun for a couple of hours. They'll love that.

Guessing 17K.
Closest to without going over...17,469 announced
Which honestly looked about right counting the grass hill dwellers and rollers/sliders. About half full.
All of the salutes to military and officers were very well done. Another week with the presentation being so much better than years past. Always good to see GWB and Laura too.

The overwhelming majority of attendees sat on the west side, which does not show on the camera. I sat in the visitors’ side last night and was very impressed at how imposing and big time we look from that angle, which of course includes not just the stands in the horseshoe but also the suites and enclosed areas.
