The only thing that scares me about Memphis is the freshman, Gainwell.

They haven't played much - even Ole Miss.
White is a competent QB but not a world changer.
The defensive backs are suspect, as was shown Saturday night and Temple showed what a good d without strong D back play will do, even without Roberson.

Our defense better be ready to tackle, because one of the few consistent weaknesses I've seen out of us so far has been our inability to stop the angry bowling ball of a RB. The kid from UNT ran us over, the guys from Temple and Tulsa did it, and this kid can do it. That, and being able to control the ball and keep Buechele and Co. off the field would do wonders for them.

We will put up points. Our defense better be ready as well.

Memphis 38

No one. I was correcting the statement that Delano would have to miss the first half. He does not.

Reggie Roberson had 250 yards in that game, going deep all over the place....he will be watching, just like the rest of us.

Yes thank you. That's why I had a pessimistic attitude from the start.

Do we have actual confirmation of this?

Yes, I know how pathetic this sounds, but I want a confirmation while I hold my breathe, along with an estimation as to how long he will be out.

With Roberson apparently out, what kind of tricks do you think Sonny has up his sleeves? I realize that we can make up for his speed, but how do we deal with this? Rice? Galliard? Sanders?

Sonny tricks; we won't always run up the middle after a long play or on first and goal.
