A boy can dream can't he?

Cincy winning out is best for AAC, but probably not best for SMU. Best for SMU is hosting the championship game, and that could require a UC loss.

Absolutely. Never got one into the end zone, but had great height on each kick. I'd also like to point out the effort that KO team had in covering the kicks. It was obviously a point of emphasis for the coaches this week. Well done.

Trouble with a Cincy loss, unless Navy beats Notre Dame, SMU May not pass 1 loss Boise in CFP rankings.

I think the scenario above definitely allows us to move pass Boise. Boise has no quality wins and a bad loss. The CFP committee is keeping them there in case the best team in the AAC has 2 or more losses. I would still think a 2 loss team in this conference is better than BSU.

If Navy loses at Notre Dame but at least gives the Irish a scare, a win in Annapolis just might push SMU past Boise in the rankings but unless Houston or Cincy can beat Memphis, none of this matters.

Agreed relating to cotton bowl but might help us qualify for a better bowl outside of AAC tie ins because we are a 11-1 and lost to the Cotton Bowl team on the road. Hey I'm praying Memphis trips, Navy beats the Irish (I think they can) and SMU wins out. That would be glorious.

Houston beats Memphis, Memphis beats Cincinnati, we win out. Everybody is still ranked and we host championship.

As much fun as this year has been, could start talking about how this team is going to replace the 24 seniors on next year's roster, with so many of those seniors being key contributors (and at least a dozen of those guys were Chad's recruits so I still have to give him a little credit).

Maybe one or two of these guys get redshirts? But key seniors include:

Proche
Xavier
Ke’Mon
CJ Sanders
Ryan Becker
Galliard
Patrick Nelson
McBryde
Armani Johnson
Demerick Gary
Rodney Clemens
Delonte Scott
Pono Davis
Richard Moore (medical)
Sackville (medical?)
Kevin Robledo

McBryde is eligible for a 6th year.
Armani Johnson is a redshirt Soph
Richard Moore is eligible for medical redshirt.
Sackville is eligible for medical redshirt

Biggest losses are:
Proche
X Jones
Freeman
Pat Nelson
Demerick Gary
Rodney Clemens
Delontae Scott
Pono Davis

Sonny and Co are prepared for this though. There is young talent coming up, and if there are any holes that need addressing, we can all be certain they will address them through the transfer portal or jucos.

IN SONNY WE TRUST.

We've been dropped out of the CFP Top 25. App State replaces us. Texas at No. 19?!?!

Is anyone surprised? They don’t want us there and, in their opinion, we don’t belong there. We just have to win the rest of our games and show them.
Frankly, I am shocked that they didn’t move ut up to at least #2.
