From one of the articles on the site that I gave you, Brown University was sued in 1996 for cuts in women's sports and U. of Texas settled a lawsuit in the 90's by agreeing to add women's sports. Those are two examples; there may be more.
Edit: LSU settled a similar lawsuit in 2001; Va. Tech in '94.
