I remember one year, I think when we beat Pittsburgh, that SMU then went on later in the evening to win the conference opener in basketball at Tulsa.

So, we are 1-0 in bowl games that are played the same day we open basketball conference play at Tulsa.

Will be interested to see how well prepared/coached our guys are given the lame duck status of so many of the coaches that are still around helping to scout Virginia and prepare for this game. Would assume Lashlee is heavily involved in scouting Virginia having seen them while at Miami
