Marcus, Bandoumel & Nutall 0-7 from three. Need a better 2nd half to close this game out. Both teams doing a good job on defensive boards and both teams getting only one shot most trips down.

Not what I was hoping for (it would be nice to have built on our 10 point lead) but pretty much exactly what I expected. Temple is very scrappy and likes to play ugly forcing our guys into that type of scrappy game. As long as we win I'll be happy. So far so good. Up 28-22 at the half.

I thought Zhuric looked terrific before going down. Hope he's going to be o.k. as we really need his D and him sharing the point with Michael. Zhuric had that one ugly three miss from the corner but otherwise was fun to watch, especially with his on ball defense

Young did a good job on the boards but I agree with the announcers that when he pulls down an offensive board under the bucket, he just needs to go up strong and try to flush it. He's not a bad FT shooter for a big so I'd like to see him be more aggressive offensively

Need to shoot better than 25% from three in 2nd half but it's pretty special when you can hold the home team to 26% shooting and only 14% from three

Temple scrapping on the boards and determined to made this game a slug fest and refs are cooperating. Good thing this SMU team is more physical than we have been in recent years. Shooting percentages even worse so far this half
