As in the OU game, SMU might keep it close for awhile but TCU will pull away for a more or less easy win. SMU defense seems to be better than in the past.

Some pretty arrogant and downright idiotic tcu fans who continue to (or at least want to) believe this game is SMU's "Super Bowl" and that the frogs will probably sleep walk through this game. I suppose those same posters had that same view towards Colorado and will insist the Buffs just caught them off guard because tcu didn't respect their opponent.

This will be one heck of a game and I think our guys might be ready to pull off this upset. I'm going with SMU 31-26 with tcu missing a 2 point conversion while trying to make a late comeback after SMU jumps out to an early lead while tcu "sleep walks" through the 1st half. Clearly any team that lost to OU can't compete with the mighty horney toads, right?

Colorado threw for over 500 yards against them. Their secondary is vulnerable, if we set up plays well. Preston has a chance to really have a great game. The fact that they have to respect the run, means we should get some great match-ups outside.

SMU 36 TCU 35 Lashlee goes for 2 and the win after scoring a TD with 15 seconds to play. Runs Sonny the Snayke's trick 2 point play from a similar situation against Navy a few years ago. Law of averages catches up with Lashlee, and we make it.

Last I checked, SMU has won 2 of last 3 (would have been 3 of 4 without Covid) and those 2 wins came in cowtown.
