Not that this one was the greatest, but:
1994 SMU vs #7 Texas A&M at the Alamodome was probably the most unexpected score I have seen in my lifetime.
21-21 tie and we had a chance to get the W with a 43 yard FG kick that went wide right vs a team that finished the season undefeated. A team that hadn't lost a conference game in four years and was on a 26 game SWC win streak.
No other team scored more than 21 on that defense all year long. It was loaded with talent.

Greatest game or most hyped game? Best game SMU / Rice 1975. Arthur Whittington ran back a kickoff as clock expired. Bobby Leach miracle vs. Sand Aggies. Louie Kelcher manhandling top ranked Aggies in 1974. Most hyped game. SMU/TCU 1935.
