Re: Fisher out at A$M
This will likely cost the Aggie$ close to $100 million before all is said and done as there will be costs associated with terminating current staff and replacing the entire staff

I read that the Duke coach might be at the top of their list. Flavor of the day. Why not the James Madison coach?

Re: Fisher out at A$M
Question is, who do we bring on to help Rhett out? I like Rhett, but I don't know if he's ready to lead a team to some wins in the ACC. He did ok @ Miami, but he wasn't the main man.
I feel like he needs someone to help.

When I think of A&M, I like to paraphrase Winston Churchill:
Never in the field of college football was so much spent by so many for so few results.

Re: Fisher out at A$M
They could certainly pay a lot less for Traylor than anyone currently sitting on a P5 coach's' salary, not to mention probably a much lower buyout from UTSA if there even is oneredpony wrote:also read that UTSA coach might be on their list.

Aggie$ lose three one score games and pull the plug on Fisher despite facing a huge financial hit, not to mention taking a hit to their reputation as maybe one of the most impatient and unrealistic football programs in the country. They think a new coach will make them the next Georgia or Alabama?

I think Aggie should consider Letting the Hammer Down and give Chad Morris a call...

How about that coach who took that team to the college football finals in his first year? Some place A$M hasn't been for a 100 years. Sonny would be a perfect fit!

They could pay less for Traylor or anyone else, but why would they? They’re Aggies! That next coach is about to hit a $200m early retirement lottery in College Station.
