10-1, but otherwise yes, exactly. Would have been nice to play the Toads without Chandler Morris as well, versus the Toads with him; or if the poll voters took such things into account. No...we need to play in Norman to get OU to come to Ford later...but OU might try to buy out of that game if we get better than we are now. I believe we had a last minute empty out of conference spot to fill because the UNT game became a conference game.highlander wrote:Why in the world did we schedule PVA&M??? A waste of a schedule slot.

You can thank idiots like Don Williams from Lubbock/tech who not only does not have us ranked at all (historically has never given SMU any credibility - even during LB Basketball days), but the idiot has the tamu aggies ranked #25. Stupid stunts like this should have his voting rights withdrawn.

Re: Top 25!

Agree that Preston is better. Oline is better as well and Dline. This is now a team and all are better. Let's keep winning and see where this team goes. It is a good time to be a Mustang!

Thankfully (I think), the AP is irrelevant and all that really matters is the CFP rankings (which will be updated this evening).docabel wrote:You can thank idiots like Don Williams from Lubbock/tech who not only does not have us ranked at all (historically has never given SMU any credibility - even during LB Basketball days), but the idiot has the tamu aggies ranked #25. Liberty!?! Bottom line = we must beat Navy and hope to play Tulane and then beat them, our only shot at a New Years Six.

Sagarin is the only computer ranking I trust. Otherwise it's egghead land.
