Consumate team player.

Remember the 83 hog contest. What a day for our D.
No big deal but SMU didnΓÇÖt beat Texas before the 1980 win in Austin. Or the 1982 win in Austin.
SMU last beat UT in 1966 before the 1980 win. I think Mike Livingston was at QB?

Rough start with 3 turnovers in the 1st half but he really stepped up and ran the offense well. Kudos to Kevin and it will be fun to see how much more he might improve before the bowl game

Rough start but only the second pick was poor decision making by KJ.

I know he has played a lot of big games in high school, won a state championship, etc. But as a college quarterback, Jennings is young.

How many quarterbacks do you know who ΓÇö at his age ΓÇö could have three turnovers in the first half, gather himself and lead his team to victory? It was almost like you could see him maturing in the second half before our eyes.

Also ... I can't think of an SMU quarterback who is as good rolling toward his off-hand and throwing the ball away from his body. There were a handful of times when Jennings raced to his left and threw back toward the right ΓÇö including one sidearm throw to Lavine that was damn-near underhand, and they were strikes (a couple dropped).

It's hard enough to throw accurately when the QB has the time to plant his feet, get his balance, etc. Jennings' ability to throw ΓÇö accurately ΓÇö while on the run was extremely impressive.
PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.

Mac White was probably the starter, and played most of the time. Mike Livingston might have come in on some passing situations. Mike was the starter in 67 after Mac graduated.

Kevin was 19-33 for 1 TD and 203 yards. He had 63 yards on 15 carries :!:
May the forth be with us.
