I see Pratt is not playing for Tulane against Va Tech. Might make this a good game. Tulane jumps out to an early 7-0 lead after VA Tech fumble
I know I should really root for the ACC here but I can’t. Go Wave.Charleston Pony wrote:I see Pratt is not playing for Tulane against Va Tech. Might make this a good game. Tulane jumps out to an early 7-0 lead after VA Tech fumble
So many backups playing in these bowl games it's really difficult to recognize some teamsperuna81 wrote:Couch-burners are giving Carolina a tough time...
Hope UNC rolls 'em up.
UT backup QB (and two-game starter during 2023, against BYU and K State), says hi. Committed to transfer to Duke. Will not play in the playoffs.Mustangs_Maroons wrote:With so many players opting out, it’s really difficult to make any real evaluations of these games. I think Tulane beats VT in a regular season game. All of these bowl games, sans the NY6 Bowls, have really become useless. Even some of the NY6 bowls, you have some starters opting out. The only real exception is for the four teams that get a chance at the national championship.
That’s the backup QB. Very different scenario. No way Ewers would opt out of this game. Outside of the NY6 bowls, it’s quite staggering the key players that opt out.Dukie wrote:UT backup QB (and two-game starter during 2023, against BYU and K State), says hi. You’re correct, I overlooked ΓÇ£startersΓÇ¥ in your comment. But it’s still a 2-game starter who they’d much rather have available and who never would’ve been out the door like this even a couple of years ago.Mustangs_Maroons wrote:That’s the backup QB. The Orange Bowl is the same story but probably will be a blowout with Rodemaker gone and FSU down to that true freshman QB.Mustangs_Maroons wrote:The cotton bowl is a snoozefest. Another example of even a NY6 bowl game now largely irrelevant. OSU’s top player, WR Harrison, opting out. They’re playing with a QB that has not played all season due to their starting QB transferring out.
With all the FSU whining, I’m looking forward to the noles getting blown out.Dukie wrote:The Orange Bowl is the same story but probably will be a blowout with Rodemaker gone and FSU down to that true freshman QB.Mustangs_Maroons wrote:The cotton bowl is a snoozefest.
