I had that $^%@#$ song in my head for 3 days after the game in Lubbock last year. It took a steady diet of Our Lady Peace and Counting Crows to recover.

That's what happens when you let someone with a music degree from Texas Tech write a fight song.
Of course we have another "Fight Song" too -- Pony Battle Cry. I would sure love it if people would actually sing the words -- not just "Fight Fight Fight" at the end. There is little that gives me chills more than a crowd signing the words to its fight song together and loud! That's why hearing Rocky Top is so neat. At the Final Four last weekend, Georgia Tech had a few songs where EVERYONE sang the words and it was very cool!
Hail to the Red and the Blue
We're Mustangs from SMU
Give a cheer, show your might
Get the victory in sight.
For our battle cry will be
FIGHT -FIGHT - FIGHT.
Spirit's the best in the land
And right to the end we'll stand
For the M-U-ST-A-N-G-S!
FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
