Escaped first half so far without critical damage...Rogers has been impressive..

I maybe in the minority here, but this is the best half of football we have played since I was kid at Texas Stadium watching Reggie Dupard play. The reason I say that is this is big time football again and I expect a close game every week. We have to step up as fans, coaches, and players. We wanted this for the past 29 years since the SWC broke up. This is not the Cavan era and this is not going to be a blowout every game like last year. We are in it and have faith!

Who would have thought SMU’s strength is our kicker…

The offense just canΓÇÖt get into any rhythm. The regression of Stone is quite remarkable. ItΓÇÖs not even the level of competition, heΓÇÖs just simply regressed. And unfortunately the two qb system just doesnΓÇÖt work in the long term. Seems like Jennings may be the way to go here.
