I can't even watch the game when it's on. Should I sneak a few peaks along the way or watch the whole game later that night and try to avoid spoilers?

Sorry to hear that. I told Mrs. Highlander to clear the social schedule Saturday night. My butt will be parked in front of the TV before kickoff, watching live with commercials.

This is big boy stuff here, the type of game many of us have wanted for a long time. If someone had told me even five years ago that we would be playing in the ACC championship game in football against Clemson, I would have told them they were crazy.

We belong here, the team has earned it. Need to finish strong. Believe we can win because we are the better team - build our own legacy starting now.

Does anyone know of the status of injured players that may be available for this game?

What's weird is we would be better off to simply call in sick to the game instead of playing and losing.

Dream matchup for me as both my kids went to Clemson. Will be there with Mrs CP, our daughter and son-in-law and expect some to wear Clemson orange. I don't have any SMU blue so I will wear my Ponysportsdtx Collective white sweatshirt and SMU hat so will at least stand out from the mass of orange I expect we'll see there Saturday. We had talked earlier this year about SMU playing @ Clemson next year and will be at that game for sure. From what I've seen so far this season, this Clemson team is not as strong as they have been in recent years. If we protect the ball, SMU wins a close one 34-30. If we can force turnovers we win by 2 scores. If our guys get the "we are new to playing a championship game with what's at stake" jitters, Clemson prevails but I expect this to be a really good game.

Bring extra layers, PonyFans. Looks like it could get under 40 by kickoff.
