Actually I think we have a better shot against Tech - (although not a good shot at either) - Before you jump me stallion (he loves the little sand dobbers) - playing TCU at home after we embarrassed them by staying close (thats what they say anyway) means they will be really up for us - we don't play them well on the road - our best team of the last 8 years managed to lose to their worst in Ft Worth a while back. Tech has lost some big time talent, - as a passing team might not have it all together early, we play them at home and Foy will be sky high. If we can score early and put them in a panic we have a shot. Or we might also get killed.
I just like our odds vs Tech more the TCU. In 05 I will go ahead and predict a win at Ford vs the Frogs.

"those that just get on here and cheerlead all day, every day have been proved wrong time-and- time again"
And that gives you satisfaction that we're wrong? This attitude is the source of my comment that you'd rather SMU lose every game just so you'll be right. The only real losers on this board are those who believe we'll lose every game but still hang around as fans.

While the TCU game was "encouraging" it was still a loss. There are no moral victories. Football started back after the DP in 1989 and the team can't win as many games as that 1989 team. Back in 1989, some were saying that it would be 10 years before SMU would win a game and yet, they managed to win that season. Who would have thought that 14 years after the first post-DP game, SMU would field a team that would not win a game all year. When will the Mustang faithful be able to expect more out of the program?
