X .... you, of ALL people, having followed the team like you do .... MUSTANGS, not lady mustangs. Not a gender-specific mascot, remember? Just busting your chops..........The XtC wrote:davish75 wrote:Very moving victory - thanks for your great play and wonderful entertaiment
Days like this, games like this, moments like this, are why I love my Lady Mustangs. They give me a feeling of pride, when I see them fight this hard and achieve something great, it's almost like a parent with a child. Cant get this anywhere else.
Love you ladies, thank you again

some UTEP fan in the bathroom was complaining after the game about the game being fixed and C-USA planning on the ponies to win because they wanted two teams in the tournament. i also thought it was pretty classless of UTEP to retreat to the locker room after the game and not come out for the runner up trophy and all tournament team.
you stay classy, UTEP!

My girls were pretty pumped after I explained to them what the win meant. We missed most of it on TV until the final 6 minutes -- the best part.
The 8-year-old asked if we could beat Tennessee? I said, "Just don't worry about that.''

This is an absolutely great win and I am so proud of the entire womens program. Mission accomplished, goal achieved and now on to wrecking havoc in this tournament. We can really surprise some teams in this tournament because it is not enough to get there. We must show up, compete and win! Go Mustangs!

Amazing win. I had my performance summary meeting this morning (which my boss was later to than I was, so he didn't notice
) and could barely talk because my voice is toast.
I mean toast. It's cracking more than a 13 year old at a jr high prom

I believe it's 7pm on ESPN, monday the 17th.
Hopefully it will be toward the beginning of the show...I will be watching in an airport...flight leaves at 7:40 so I hope we hear within the first 15 minutes
I think it's actually 7 eastern time, but 6pm Central, so you should be able to catch it.
