You are right about JJ. Up until the last few plays Mumme was calling everything and things were smooth. JJ steps in to call plays and things got sloppy.

jj has never managed the clock.

I just really don't like our offense.

We get the ball to start the 2nd half. Lets settle in and get 7. Hope Rambo wright and Scott are ok. Not good if those guys are out.

I liked our offense in this first half much better than the offense I saw last year despite the lack of scoring. I can envision this offense being very effective if they can find a rhythm and find a running back who can pick up his blocking assignments.

Very even game and we are well in it. Defense is keeping us alive. If the offense can wake up and start executing, Mustangs can win this.

Agree.

If GG can get a little more accurate in the second half SMU will have a good chance to win.

second half should show which team has has the best depth and best conditioning.

that clock management at the end of the 2nd half was absolutely pathetic. our offense sucks.. JJ needs to relinquish playcalling duties to Mumme and just do a better job managing the big-picture aspect

They get their all world TE in the second half. Our O has got to start fast here.

On a brighter note: our kicking game looks good. We have great range on field goals and punts.
