Ben E is out all year with a knee injury and Sedrick is transferring out.

Sed already burned this year so he might as well play out the semester. If Keith doesn't come back shake takes his minutes at that combo and Sed moves over for the backup pg minutes that shake mightve gotten

Did Sed make the grades to be eligible? I know there was talk of him not doing well.

Won't know until two weeks from tomorrow, plus or minus (J term starts the 4th and goes for two weeks)

Your math is off. We were at 11 at the beginning of the year. Semi is redshirting, Ben E is injured, and Sed is transferring so we have 8 scholarship players available - 7 with Keith gone. Wilfong doesn't have a scholarship

noticed an interesting "stat" from last night's box score...attendance reported as 6,852 and that is the exact same figure reported for SHSU, Yale & Brown games. We've reported lower figures for other games but over 7,200 for Michigan so I assume that figure does not represent a sellout...or does it? I don't know what the actual attendance might have been, but it struck me as an odd number to have been repeated so many times. Not trying to offend the more sensitive folks on this board or start another attendance/support controversy...just curious about the significance of that number because we "officially" list Moody's capacity as 7,000.

Yeah, Sed is the transferring guy I was thinking about. Why isn't there a full roster of 13 ships? Anyone else sitting out?

I thought we had "self imposed" in anticipation of NCAA sanctions

There are 6,850 seats (maybe 6,852?) and then we sell SRO tickets for the big games. I believe the 7,000 capacity listing is based on an initial estimation of the SRO capacity of the area above the band as being 150.

Correct, we self-imposed a two-scholarship sanction for this year. This amount has been credited against the 9 for the next three years so we only have to be down 7 over the next three years. Guessing we will go 3-2-2 given how things are going.

I think we will get 3 scholarships reinstated through appeal. That will leave us three years to burn 4 scholarships which won't be too bad. It is a guess though.
