Beyond frustrating. No doubt, SMU should be winning this game.

Jumping doesn't do anything when every defender is 2yds deep in the endzone and behind the receiver

The good part, I hope, is that it's halftime & maybe someone will tell our pass defenders that they can get in front of the receiver & try to catch it.
Hicks, w/his scramble & pass, on 3rd down was unreal & I had to take back some things I had said earlier.

Need to convert redzone opportunities into touchdowns in the 2nd half. Trey Quinn is too good for TCU when they bracket sutton.

Malone really is not a good d coordinator.. this is what we get for hiring a defensive coach from a Big 12 school

Maybe you cast a fortuitous shadow on his eye?

Silver lining, A&M will have no choice but take Memphis coach since he doesn't choke away games... so glad that UCLA lost.

Who coaches our DBs?

Don't think I've ever seen a Hail Mary where four defenders around ball never left the ground.
Lioked like they'd been strongly warned to not get a PI call.

we can only hope that if CM leaves he takes his D dummy coach with him. This is pathetic.

To my eyes, It's more than being 'out-athleted', too many bone-headed plays.

Those last 2 TD passes were so ridiculously covered I actually laughed out loud.

I am going to guess that none of our coaches coach "stupid" or "choke". But that is what happened.

True, but far too many happen on D vs Offense

On a positive note North Texas leads Iowa 14-10 at half.

Some say you can't the blame defensive coordinator for what the defense does on the field

with a D like this I don't think these guys need to plan on playing in a bowl game.

You can't deny that we'd be up by a comfortable margin if our D had some mediocre-level speed

And some say a linebacker who does not cover a back out of the backfield as instructed and trained is the DCs fault.
