Tough way to go out. I really hope the NCAA doesn't screw us over again.

really! I wanted us to win but to blame the officials etc. is pretty lame. How many foul shots did we miss, how many shots missed? IMO the officials missed calls on both teams. IMO we didn't come to play.

Our resume was even stronger in 2014 and we didn’t get in. So not holding my breath.

If we don’t get in that Temple game will be the most recent impact on us missing.

We got killed on the boards…again. 48-25.

You’re listening to the broadcast and not watching the game.

I still think we’re getting in.

Talk about irony - Twitter is full of Memphis fans complaining about the officiating.

I hope you’re right. In 2014 we were nationally ranked the week before the AAC tourney, beat 4 ranked teams, swept eventual national champion UCONN, and we didn’t get in that year.

I don’t think we get in. Too many other bubble teams have won in their conference tournaments and too much bias against SMU. We needed to at least make the final if not win it.

If true, then I will have lost my faith in what remains of the ideal of fairness in amateur sport.

Incredibly stupid comment. Our guys didn't come to play? Did you even watch the game? Our guys played hard but Memphis was the better team tonight. They pressured and doubled KD all night and made our guys play at a slightly faster pace than we were comfortable with, but this SMU team played their guts out. Our guys shot under their average on threes and Bandoumel went 0-5 but that just might have had something to do with the defense he's asked to play and KD was only able to go 1-3 from three. Credit Memphis' defense for making adjustments and finally figuring out how to beat SMU. Memphis had a huge size advantage and they out rebounded our guys 48-25, but it wasn't for lack of effort. We have no answer for Duren and Wiiliams but at least we fouled the latter out early. Our guys quickness caused Memphis to turn it over 19 times. Our guys shot 75% FTs, right on their season average. You need to just go back to your Turner/Hart/Jank hate but stop with the stupid comments please. I will agree that while the officiating was poor, it did not affect the outcome of this game.

I lost that when we got the DP. The ncaa is one corrupt organization.
