I heard Who's Who in HPV went out of business. I thought they had an alright burger.

If true, they may have been run off by the desire by management to go even more upscale than HPV already is.

Had the Point Burger at The Point After North in Flower Mound last night. Any relation to 1st and Ten or the past 1st and Ten? I thought there was a relation between all of those places.

Used to be. Don't think so anymore from what's been posted here before.

No more common ownership, but there used to be ten (I think) points.

I'd be curious to hear the story. sounds cool. and sorry junior...I was here when this thread was created. Im not searching through 100 threads when I can simply ask the question. Its not like its related to the current owners of 1st and 10 anyway.

Dutch knows more about it than i do, but I'm certain none of the points ownership is involved with either of the 1st and 10 bars.

Don't go to In N Out in Dallas tomorrow. I don't want a long line at lunch. Wait until Thursday.

It's open.

Tried Glen Lakes Bar & Grill today (on Walnut Hill between 75 and Greenville, in the building where Earl's used to be) and had to try the burger.

Not bad, but I'm not rushing back for another. The bun was greasy (inside and out), and the burger was seriously overcooked. I ordered it medium, and it came out the way most places would call well done.

That said, the flavor of the burger was pretty good. Had a smoky flavor to it, and they had plenty of the extras (onion, tomato, etc.). If I go back, I'd be glad to try another burger, but will order it rare, or at least medium rare. Fries were greasy and oversalted.

at one time there were 21 "Point Afters" (James Bailey and James Galloway) - btw the Addison Point has a special on Mondays ($2 burgers with fries) - very good :D
