BLM has the touch of a 3rd string QB-not good.

That wasn't really that bad a throw. The coverage was good and he threw it where Aldrick should have been able to react and make the adjustment back to the ball
Half 14-10

Up 14-10 against a Southland 4-8 school is not impressive.

So exactly WHY did we start BO over JW last year?
Oh I remember now, so he would be such a "Gunslinger" in his second year after he "got" the Run and Shoot!
Stallion called it when he rated him somewhat mediocre...

at least we are up at half...UCF losing to Samford out of the So-Con...same conference as App State (who came back and gave ECU a late scare today)

I'm not sure if it is the channelsurfing feed but the SFA Dance girls appear to be some hefty heifers!

JJ will keep recruiting QBs and WRs until he gets guys who can run this offense...oh, and big uglies up front to protect. Let's see if we can turn it up in the 2nd half and let's see how the season progresses.
I still think there are 3-5 potential wins on this year's schedule. Have to remember we play in CUSA, where Marshall struggled against SIU and UCF is struggling against Samford

Bigger Issue to me is JJ's inability sign a true QB stud since he has been here.
Maybe Kaiser is the answer but he is still in HS.
We need to do a much better job at recruiting QBs

Yeah, hopefully Padron can make a run for the job next season, but it's a shame we didn't get a bigger name in last years class.

As long as they win I'll be happy, we need something definite to build off of.

You think prospects have been scared away because we were starting a true freshman who still had four years to letter?

OK...can we PLEASE start making plays and pull away in the 2nd half?
Haven't seen Butler or Haynes yet...do we get some more guys on the field...or are some of those guys down with the flu? Announcers said we had several guys out. I assume that's why Collins started and has played most of the way tonite?

Only halftime but we look terrible. BLM should be replaced and so should our DB's. They are not stopping the receivers at all. The SFA qb is going to pick us apart if we don't step it up the second half. Very disappointing.
GO PONIES!!!
