Re: New Pricing
Increase the ticket prices from last year but do it at an acceptable increase. 10-15% is okay, but don't do a 300% increase. I can deal with 10% increases each year.

Re: New Pricing
I'm with Stallion on this one. We need to pony up.
Go easy on the younger alums for sure and reward the loyals who've had season tix forever, but increasing prices significantly is ok with me. Of course, there's a smart way and a dumb way but we need the revenue and I, for one, am happy to give back.

You just said pony up two posts ago.

I will pony up whatever price they are. My tickets aren't 300% more expensive.
But I can't speak for the other alumni. The donation per seat is steep for new ticketholders. Price to fill up Moody, not maximize revenue.

Re: New Pricing
Nothing has even been released yet. No one knows what the increase will be.

Re: New Pricing
I'll wait for SMU to send me an e-mail about how much season tickets cost. . . Instead of people talking out of the mouth they sit on.

Re: New Pricing
The pdf file linked to the first post in this thread just shows a blank pdf file, with no info on it. Nothing listed on my account as to how much the tickets will be, no info on the SMU website. Where are people getting all this info from?

Re: New Pricing
There was a pricing report put out. If you read through the thread you will see a post from SID stating it was still a work in progress and the release was premature. The report was pulled.

Re: New Pricing
The speculation is from a PDF that was found. If you dig through the thread, someone posted a copy of it after it was pulled.
Not unreasonable to have chatter based off of those numbers. They took the time to make that and upload it to the website, even if they now say it's not accurate, so it's not like we're guessing or making up numbers.
Will be interesting to see what the final seating map pricing looks like vs the one we found.

This is the way they roll. Run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes. If not, bring it down and throw something else out there. Somebody needs to put a tent over that circus.
