I wonder if SMU will let me play since I'm unemployed. I usually guard Wrs for money but I hate losing to TCU.

He needs to get back on the field.

Beasley comes off like a bitter little dwarf that has been brainwashed by June. The moron didn't even know we had the Simmons School of Education or that we signed all of one DISD recruit in the six years June Jones was our head coach. These kids are defending their coach and I can understand that, but the state of the program is not the fault of the SMU administration or the student body. The fault lies squarely with June Jones and the CoC that allowed him to come back here after Arizona State.

Arizona State was essentially our second death penalty. The talent on this roster is so depleted that it will take 3 full recruiting cycles, several transfers (both in and out), and a lot of luck to get this thing competitive. The blatant mismanagement and poor recruiting go on June. Allowing a coach to publicly play hardball in contract negotiations and personal squabbles over geldings and wearing a rain forest on your neck during games, blaming everyone but yourself, etc......that is on the CoC.

I'd also be careful burning those bridges if I were Beasley. He's one crossing route away from being the JV Wide Receivers Coach at Little Elm HS. Ban that little hobbit from campus since he "never wants to step foot" here again anyway. Screw him.

I sit near the "parents section" and every time Beasley attends a game, I see 50+ kids run to the railing asking for his autograph, with a background of beaming dads. F that dude if he doesn't think that is what being loved as a college football player is all about.

Not only that but to have outright disdain for the institution that provided access to a free education to play football and throwing everyone from the administration, students, alumni, and fans under the bus is embarrassing. He better hope the tiki god has a job for him as a GA at Hawaii or he'll be the most famous JV Wide Receivers Coach in Little Elm H.S. history.

Isn't that being loved as a pro football player (since they probably were not doing that when he was in college)?

I meant today, did not mean previously. Your post sounded like you thought no one had criticized him today, just posted his comments. Guess I just got confused by your post.

I was talking about him complaining about degree options. And when have I ever dogged the school. You all know me and I'm as Mustang as it gets. It would be hard to find a player post DP that had been to as many games, donated time and money, and defend SMU to everyone I know. You just don't put stuff like that out there for everyone to see.
