Interesting that although Michael Scott has the higher rating than his brother Delointe Scott-Delointe actually had more sacks (7 to 3) and Tackles for Loss (11.5 to 4). Same number of tackles (49). I believe Michael also played as a Receiver too though. We need these kids to hit the Strength and Condition program. Hopefully they grow into bookend DEs in a couple of years

Some of this is a circle J*rk. Many of the player rating services ffactor in how many and who offers you. If you get offered by a bunch of SEC teams you are considered a better recruit. SEC has its overrating machine working on all levels. Not saying they don't get lots of good players but you will never convince me teams 3-6 in the SEC are substantially better than teams 3-6 in other power 5 conferences which is what the pollsters and espn tries to do every year.

No it isn't a [deleted]. You obviously aren't up to speed. The SEC gets the best talent, they are the most competitive football league and they have by far the most players in the NFL Undergraduate Draft, the NFL draft and on NFL rosters. If there wasn't a NFL Undergraduate Draft the SEC would make a mockery of the other conferences. Its the only thing keeping things in balance
Ex. how good would A&M have been last year if they didn't lose a Heisman Trophy winner, All -American WR and All American OLM?
What if Alabama hadn't lost 4-5 All/American/All-SEC players every year for last half decade
How about LSU which lost 11 undergraduates last year

And they are getting ready to receive a check for $30,000,000+ EACH, just from the SEC Network.

Really, Why did the Old Miss, Auburn, and Alabama lose their bowl games if they are so superior to the other teams?

I personally love to hate the SEC.
Alabama lost by 7 vs Ohio State
Ole Miss lost by 39 vs TCU
Miss State lost by 15 vs GT
Auburn lost by 3 vs Wisconsin
LSU lost by 3 vs Notre Dame
Florida won by 8 vs ECU
Georgia won by 23 vs Louisville
Missouri won by 16 vs Minnesota
Tennessee won by 17 vs Iowa
A&M won by 8 vs WV
Arkansas won by 24 vs Texas
SC won by 3 vs Miami
Kentucky did not bowl
Vanderbilt did not bowl
I know that is not necessarily statistically representative of the conference in general, but it does not scream dominance to me.

This part of the discussion started with SEC recruiting and whether it was inflated. The SEC dominates recruiting in the United States. There is no other word to describe the unprecedented dominance of the SEC in recruiting. Just be thankful for the Undergraduate Draft. I have no love for the SEC-but there really is no debate
