Don't worry guys...the front page for the DMN had Baylor this morning. SMU? Back page. All the more reason to make noise in the tournament. Make them pay attention.

Let's see, the DMN has editors for the fish rap...
The DMN has editors for digital/cyber media...
No one at the DMN chose to pull this, because it is generating a reasonable amount of hits and response...thus while circulation for fish rap is still taking it in the shorts from grey-hairs and no-hairs, the cyber world for advertising shows a momentary peak...WIN.
"Not a long-term win, but hey, we're ahead at the end of the first quarter..."
oh and by the way, they have disabled comments again as of 9 am wed.

The deliverable had SMU on the front page of the ENTIRE paper. The Baylor story was front page of the SPORTS section. Yes, I still subscribe. For this very reason...if we're all going to sling mud back at the hacks, it might as well be accurate - at least on our side.

The guy who is apologizing (Jeff Darby) was previously in the SID office at SMU during the Copeland years.

You know there are marketing lessons to be learned by this Facebook post. If you post something totally stupid, it goes viral in 10 seconds. So, be careful out there when posting for your businesses.

That would require her to work. Maybe she could RT something positive; that's a modest goal in the effort department.

From a PR perspective, it would be way too little, way too late - would only result in a fresh round of vitriol.
That 'ol nugget of remaining silent and being thought a fool than opening the mouth and removing all doubt comes to mind...
