It seems worse than 1989

Admittedly the defense does look better than last year (not saying much) but the offense has dropped double the amount the defense improved.

Well I will enjoy the same things tomorrow also.

Is it just me or does it seem that almost every team in college football has QBs who are a threat to run ...except SMU? Or at least SMU with Ben Hicks at QB? On that last series on 3rd and long, he alludes the rush only to throw downfield into a crowd along the sideline...when it appeared he had an open field in front of him and possibly enough room to pick up a 1st down. I agree with those who say we are never going to win with Hicks. He just doesn't have "it". With the new rule allowing FR to play 4 games and not blow their RS, I will be disappointed if the backups don't get some snaps when games like this are obviously out of control.

I realize I know very little about football, but with the game well out of reach, why does not the coach give another quarterback a chance?

I’m finally convinced Hicks is not the one to get us over the hump. Let’s give one of our other QBs a chance to start. This offense sucks right now.

These AAC announcers did their best to talk up SMU for as long as they could, but at some point you just can't avoid telling it like it is...this SMU football program is just not competitive against above average football teams, much less Top 25 teams.

I hope everybody drives home safe
