Possibly regretting his decision to go to Oxford? This is his 4th year but with Covid bonus season and possible RS season he could hit the portal and still have a productive finish to his collegiate career and possibly closer to home?

Meanwhile, in games featuring our future conference mates:

Navy beats Temple 27-20 in OT
UAB down 24-14 @ FAU in 3rd quarter
Charlotte wins 56-23 @ Rice
UNT wins 40-13 @ Western Kentucky
ECU wins @ BYU
USF loses @ Houston

UTSA, Memphis & Tulane all off this week

My expectation is that the future AAC is going to be wide open and I don't see anyone dominating

Wisconsin whipping Maryland 23-3 in 4th quarter

Tulane up 24-13 @ Tulsa and driving for another score

future conference mate 2-7 Charlotte down 51-7 at home vs 5-4 Western Kentucky. Talk about a program that has a lot of work to do to even become competitive!

USF battling Temple in Philly for the AAC cellar. Temple up 9-7 in 2nd quarter

The Cincy Navy game is going to be interesting cause the winds are gusting up to about 40 mph here.

5th straight loss for Jimbo and the ags. Still loving that ridiculous contract in College Station?

That's an up and coming program. Hugh Freeze will probably be moving on before too much longer

UNT up 45-14 vs FIU in 1st half. Mean Green will probably pick up their 6th win vs 4 losses as they have really turned their season around.

As much as it kills me to do it, have to give TCU credit for another strong finish in beating the Sand Aggies yesterday at ACS. TCU just might work their way into the FBS Final Four discussion but has games @ Texas and @ Baylor to finish the season and would have to lose their final 3 games to play their way out of the Big XII Championship Game. Heck of a 1st season for Sonny in Ft Worth

Sonny left SMU football better off than how he found it. Of course I wanted to beat TCU but at this point in the season, I'm ok if Sonny wins it all. By the way, the TCU stadium was pack with fans yesterday. Just highlights one reason why Sonny left.

Also plenty of red in those seats. Helps to be playing former SWC mates although it didn't show in Ford last night vs Houston. TCU didn't alienate several generations of students like SMU did
