Seriously? You want to blow up this roster?Mustangs_Maroons wrote:Team needs a major roster rebuild. And more high IQ players. Too many boneheaded mistakes.
After watching this game, yes. It was an absolute embarrassment of low football IQ plays. Unforced interceptions, unforced false starts, unforced PI that extended a lay for them. Too many of them.highlander wrote:Seriously? You want to blow up this roster?Mustangs_Maroons wrote:Team needs a major roster rebuild. And more high IQ players. Too many boneheaded mistakes.
I think the main difference was OL. ThatΓÇÖs where we need to upgrade. Yes, KJ had a bad game, but he will learn from this.Mustangs_Maroons wrote:After watching this game, yes. If we want to compete at this stage, we need significant upgrades.
I agree itΓÇÖs most apparent the OL where need significant upgrades. But Jennings is a gunslinger and heΓÇÖs clearly not learned. He didnΓÇÖt learn after Duke, he didnΓÇÖt learn after the Clemson game. He makes too many bad reads and mistakes. The spotlight may just be too big for him in big games.highlander wrote:I think the main difference was OL. ThatΓÇÖs where we need to upgrade. Surprised this comment didn’t generate more responses… he’s done a lot of good this year but I have to agree with this and I do find myself asking if Stone was the right decision and if we need to go seek out a transfer portal QB if we expect to upgrade to conference champs and championship contender. Will be interesting to see as KJ clearly struggled in big games.geezerdonk wrote:What an infamous performance by Kevin. What a villainous betrayal of his teammates. Two weeks in a row, he single handedly sabotaged his team leading to two defeats in what well could’ve been two historic victories.
