Few surroundings as impressive as SMU (Orsini, Ford, etc etc).

When you've been around great QBs and players like Jim Kelly, etc, and they get into Hall of Fame, collge kids start sending YOU tapes.

Apparently they addressed the academic standards. He also confirmed that Hawaii is very difficult to recruit for.

Confidence can mean a HUGE difference. The players will respond to that immediately.

What did Jones mean by that he does things differently than a Texas coach? It was about recruiting. I didn't know if he meant that he seeks a different type of player than the average Texas player, which would suggest he may not know the current popularity of spread offenses in Texas - hard to believe - or did he mean he doesn't work the living room like the typical Texas high school coach?
